First time in the shopping trolley

I brought Jo to see Dr Ong for her 6 months assessment and her last 6-in-1 jab. She was very co-operative today, no crying, no struggling, all calm even during the jab, not even when Dr Ong used an ice-cream stick to see her throat. She sat on the examination table for a long while, looking at the pooh bear, while Dr Ong and I chatted. She's 8kg, 65.5cm tall and 44cm head. Short, fat and big head.. ahahaa.. She also showed off to Dr Ong that she could get down on all fours and lift up her butt. Dr Ong was impressed and said that Jo's going to crawl soon.

After that, I brought Jo to NTUC as I wanted to get some grocery for the weekend. At first I thought I would just carry her in the pouch and push the shopping trolley along. No no no, our girl has different idea. The moment she saw the trolley, she turned around and reached for the trolley handle, as if she knew that she could sit in it. Since she could sit quite steady, I thought I could try her in the baby seat and she loved it! She took in all the sights and sounds, as I pushed her along the different sections.

Towards the end, she was a little cranky and sleepy, so I carried her. It was a good experience. She's so unlike Matthew. Matthew HATED shopping when he was an infant and we avoided departmental stores for almost a year. Maybe it's girl's nature to SHOP. I have company. :)
