It was our last day in Hong Kong. The kids woke up a little later and they had bread, which we bought from a confectionery near Yung Kee, for breakfast. I've been wanting to eat dim sum, so we asked the reception for recommendation. There were two in Camarvon building just behind our hotel. We chose 稻香 (Tao Heung) because it was less crowded.
>> Sumptuous spread. 5 dim sum items for HKD87 (inclusive of service charge). Matthew had siew mai and Jo ate some bao.
After dim sum, we checked out and left our luggage at the concierge and walked to HarbourCity. It is a gigantic shopping mall and it took us almost 20min to talk from one end to the other. We ended up walking from one end to the other because we didn't know where the Toys R Us was! Along the way, we saw Star Aquarius (or Superstar Virgo, I can't remember now).
>> Matthew loves action shots! Jo slept, definitely not enough sleep.
>> Jo in love with Thomas the Tank Engine!
After Toys R Us, we quickly made our way back to the hotel to get our luggage. Along the way, Matthew kept saying he was hungry and finished up the bread (balance from breakfast). He was good, walking the entire way from HarbourCity back to the hotel! We took A21 from a bus-stop near our hotel (in front of Rolex watch shop along Nathan Road) and it took about 40min to get to the airport.
We were running very late, checking in our luggage only at 250pm. Luckily, I checked us in for our flight before we made our way out to HarbourCity in the morning. After checking in, we went through customs and had a quick lunch before making our way to the boarding gate.
>> Jo fell asleep after the nuts and drinks were given out >> Lunch was cheese macaroni and she enjoyed it
>> A quick shot of Papa and the children
We finally landed before 8pm and went through immigration very fast. The luggage took a while and the kids had fun while waiting.
We took a cab home and the kids had energy to play more!!! Matthew didn't even take a nap!
Bye Bye Hong Kong... Home Sweet Home... Till our next adventure. :)
