Put on record

Just want to put on record some things that we did after our HK trip.

1.
Mother's Day weekend. We spent Friday night (8/5) that weekend at Marina Mandarin. For Mike's hard work, he was rewarded with a Spa getaway stay at the hotel, in lieu of a Bali trip. That Friday, Mike and I took leave and had a relaxing massage before we checked into the hotel and fetched the kids. The kids had fun and we went on a river cruise after dinner at Ryoshi Sushi in Marina Mandarin. The next morning, we all had buffet breakfast and went for a swim before checking out for lunch.



2.
Matthew joined his friends from piano class for a concert at DBS auditorium on 6/6. He was to play the Can Can. He joined his friends, despite not being able to keep up and play with the music. It was a good experience for him and he enjoyed himself. Looking forward to more concerts. :)

3.
World Blood Donation Day was celebrated at the Jurong Bird Park on 13/6. Because Mike and I donated blood last year, we both were invited and had free admission into the park. The kids enjoyed themselves, despite the constant drizzle. They finished their visit to the park with hand painting!
