I followed Matthew and my parents downstairs just now. In the lift, Matthew told me to go home and sayang mei mei. He refused to let me hold his hand and walk him to the car. He just kept telling me to go home to Joanne. My eyes swelled with tears.
I cried as my mom carried him into the car. I cried as my dad drove off, with my Matthew, away...
Matthew's a sensible boy, but did I teach / prep him too well for Joanne?

He's grown up a little, has he not? I think it's not easy for him as he struggles with feelings of being secondary to Joanne. Of course that's HIS perception and NOT reality... but I suppose it's natural. With time he'll cope. Perhaps we must not underestimate his ability to understand how his mommy and daddy are trying to cope right now. He's really quite a smart kid and open to explanations. You've taught him well... His po-po has done a good job too. :) Cheer Up! He still loves you! Once man-yue, you can spend more time with him and everything'll get better. Keep you SPIRITS up!
