After my last post on 吃豆豆, the rest of the week did not progress as well as we wanted. Lots of crying, Matthew and mama. Lots of reassurance. Lots of SWEETS! Lots of JELLY! That first weekend was horrible as Matthew was so afraid that we would leave him at childcare and go to work. Last week, he was ok and starting to enjoy school. This week, so far so good, no crying and he even gave Papa and Mama hugs and kisses and wave goodbye.
He was very very happy today. According to the grandparents' "report", he came back singing and singing. London Bridge, Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars, Row Your Boat. I have no idea which class he is attending now, playgroup or pre-nursery. I know he loves to attend 赵老师's class and comes home singing chinese songs.

In other news, Joanne is growing and putting on weight. She takes 3 naps now, half hour in the morning, 2-2.5 hours at noon and half hour in the late afternoon, two day feeds of 5-5.5oz expressed breastmilk and is almost sleeping through the night till 6-7am after her last feed at 11pm. Now I'm back at work, I breastfeed her morning when she wakes up, evening before she sleeps and 11pm.

Matthew is finally settling down into the routine, so is Joanne. Mike and I can go to work, knowing that he is enjoying school and Joanne is also happy. *smile*
