I have been so busy at work and knocked out every night. With Jo waking up at 5am everyday, it definitely did not help. What have been happening the past 3 weeks? not with me, but Matthew and Jo.
Mike went on reservist from 8 to 19/10/07. We came home everyday because there is no room at my mom's place for Jo to sleep on her own. Every night, my mom followed us home and stayed with Matthew till I put Jo to sleep, did all the cleaning and bathed. Every morning, I put Jo in my pouch, carried all the kids' barang in a big canvas bag with my bag and held Matthew's hand and walked to the car park, put both kids into the car and go over to my mom's place for breakfast, before bringing Matthew to school. So glad that the 10 days are over. On one of the nights, Mike brought Matthew to his camp for dinner. Cool... Matthew had fun and impressed with his knowledge of car logos!
On 14/10/07, we went to West Coast Park in the evening and Matthew had fun in the sand. He had never really liked the sand and hated having sand in his shoes. That day, he not only played with sand, he walked and jumped on the sand. It was near dinner time and we were in the middle of no-where, with only McDonald's. We decided to try giving him fast food. Matthew's association with Mac so far is only hotcake and milo. Matthew had french fries, chicken nuggets and corn cup for dinner. This was his first real fastfood meal (not counting hotcakes). He was telling us Yummy Yummy Hao Chi Hao Chi! Matthew is a vegetarian, eating mushroom, carrots and corn most times. He drinks soup but simply doesn't eat meat. At times we got to mince the meat very finely to mix into his porridge. Finally he is eating some meat, although it's processed meat, it's still meat.
We went on a sunset cable car trip on 20/10/07. Kind of a sudden impulse. Matthew did not want to have dinner, as he had a very late afternoon snack. After Jo had her dinner, we took the Sentosa Express to Impiah Station and took a round trip on the cable car. It was different with the sun setting in the west.
We went to KPE again on 21/10/07, this time for KPE Family Day cum Walk-a-Jog. I carried Jo in the Ergo carrier and walked the entire 4km, as I was on "official" duty, following a minister. Jo was ok, slept half the way. Mike and Matthew explored and walked almost the entire 4km.
Last week was a very busy week for me, with the opening of KPE, there were endless things to do at work. I stopped pumping at work because I couldn't work out a time to do it with the opening. Jo is now on FM during the day and I would still latch her on morning and night.
That's all the update for now. Need time to edit the photos and would post them once they are done. :)
