Spending Time with Mommy

Last Monday, I decided to take urgent leave. Since Matthew's childcare centre was closed for Children's Day, I thought I could spend some time with him... After taking Jo to my mom's place, Matthew and I went to IMM (his current fav place) for breakfast. He was a good boy, sat at the table while i went to get food. He had hotcake and egg from my egg mcmuffin. After breakfast, he had a good time on the kiddy rides, especially when it was so early and no other kids to "fight" with him.

We then went to Alexandra Village with Por Por and Jo Jo, because Por Por needed a new cooker hob. Then we had lunch at the hawker centre. Matthew had his fav guo tiao mian and fed himself. We had houseflies harrassing us and Matthew kept telling them to go away and not to bully Por Por.

He fell asleep on our way back to Por Por's place and continued his nap. After waking up, we went to the Airport. Partly the reason was to bring him on the MRT to the Expo to meet up with Mike who was having a convention there.

While we were at the airport, Matthew had a slice of Pandan Kaya Cake from Bengawan Solo and half of my slice of Pandan Chiffon. I love this photo of Matthew...



Then we took the MRT to Expo... these days, Matthew won't go anywhere (except school) without his Lighting McQueen.

It sure was fun to spend some time with Matthew. It has been a while... I should do this again.
