Kidzworld @ Zoo

We went to the zoo again! This time, we met up with Tian Tian and Racia who are same age as Joanne. We were very early and took our time to walk to Kidzworld. In fact, today we covered many many exhibits we seldom go to. It was quite fun, as it was early and the weather was good.

We saw the Malayan Tapirs eating their breakfast of leaves. I spotted so many spider webs today! Spider is not my favourite creature. Can you spot the number of spider webs in the photo taken at the Malayan Tapir exhibit?

We then made our way to the tiger exhibit. We saw all three tigers, 2 were sleeping, 1 was walking in the water. Obviously to cool off, it was quite warm!

Then we saw one lone pygmy hippo in the water... and many many fishes. The other hippos must be resting somewhere..

Australian Outback. We saw many kangaroos and the emus. Matthew actually touched one of the emus!! The emu felt the touch and turned round to see who touch! ahaha

We saw the crocodiles and heard the noisy chimpanzees before we saw the kidzworld. Then Racia, Tian Tian and Bryan came and join us. Joanne refused to join gor gor in the water and was contented to hang on to me and walk around. She was not even enthusiastic about the dry playground...

Finally lunchtime, Joanne was all happy that she could eat! ahahaha.. she finished the omlette I fried this morning and even wanted to finish all the chicken cheese sausage. She had some of my KFC chicken. Joanne sat next to Racia and shared some of her bun with her. Racia in return shared her fries.

Joanne learned a lot about sharing and team play in school. Throughout the walk back to the zoo entrance, she kept looking back to look for Tian. Then kept asking for Gor Gor Pa Pa when they went out of her sight. We took a slightly longer but shady route, passing by the jaguar, snake, iguana, giant tortoise, kodomo dragon along the way. Joanne simply refused to sleep and struggled to keep awake till we were out of the zoo.

We will definitely be back at the zoo for more fun. :)
