Matthew in a Concert

Matthew's kindergarten held a Graduation Ceremony cum Concert for the graduating K2 class today. The whole school is involved in the concert. The theme for the concert is God's Creation. Matthew has been singing a song about stars and moon. Matthew and Joanne were quite cooperative and were all ready to go, waiting for me to come back from work. I had a quick dinner and off we went to school. We wanted to go as early as possible, so that Matthew could have some time to warm up and get ready. Joanne had fun going up and down the slides, while Matthew spent some time with his friends...

Matthew actually did all the actions and with zest! We are so proud of him because quite a number of the kids were distracted, but Matthew and his good friend Chelster got most of the action correct. I had a chance to talk to Mrs Cheong after his segment. According to Mrs Cheong, Matthew didn't participate at all during rehearsals. He just stood at his position and refused to follow the action. She was very happy that he actually knew all the steps and hand actions. This boy really knows how to surprise us. :)

Will upload the video after I edit it. Too long to be uploaded.

Joanne will also be in a concert. I'm waiting for more information from her school. According to Lao Shi, Joanne is very good and can follow instructions and actions quite accurately, better than some of the older kids. In fact, Lao Shi put her to "replace" a jie jie who was absent that day and she could follow through. Maybe maybe I should put her in a dance class, not music class, when she's older.

So proud of our kids! :)
