Sesame Street is in town at Marina Square! This morning, the kids had their music lessons. Immediately after Matthew finished his class, we made our way to Marina Square. As expected, Joanne fell asleep in the stroller and Matthew "complained" of hunger. We had lunch at Food Loft and Joanne woke up as we were finishing lunch. It was too late for her to take a full lunch at 2pm, as it would affect her appetite for dinner, we brought the kids to Hans for some cakes.
>> I love this shot. HUGS!
We then made our way to the Atrium and found ourselves queuing to get in for some close up action. In fact Auntie Belle already messaged me, saying that the queue had started and that was about 245pm!! The show was at 4pm. We were hesitant at first, wondering if the kids would cooperate. To our surprise, they were quite cooperative. Mike took turn to bring the kids around, so that they would not be bored. Joanne "read" her book, then Matthew played a game of snap cards. We were lucky, one of the 40 families to get up close and personal with the characters for a photo!
>> Before the show
Joanne was stunned when the show started, probably because she had never thought her fav characters would be so huge. Her soft toys are small. Matthew was tired, but tried to enjoy the show. I was the one getting all excited about the show. I grew up with Sesame Street. :) That would explain the number of Sesame Street softies I have at home.

>> After the show, up close and personal - Cookie Monster, Elmo, Ernie and Bert
We passed our camera to the in-charge. Joanne kept pointing at him because, like Matthew at the same age, she doesn't like people to take our things, especially strangers. :p
>> We caught up with Auntie Belle and Chloe!
Lucky for us, we decided not to hang around for dinner and headed back to get our car. We saw the seriously dark clouds / sky and RAN! We hardly made it. As soon as we got into the car, the rain came.
